THE WORKSHOP9 skills · 3 projects
01
Measure with confidence

Fractions · units · tape marks · decimals

02
Plan your materials

Area · perimeter · whole packages

03
Think in space

Volume · scale · practical projects

A skill-based path, not an age or grade label.

Another worksheet isn’t always the answer.

When numbers feel disconnected from real life, it’s hard to stay interested. Your student deserves a way to see what the math means—not just memorize the next formula.

We connect the picture, the calculation, and the project, with room to practice without pressure.

A SIMPLE WAY FORWARD

Start small. See it. Use it.

01

Try a starting check

Answer 18 questions covering all nine skills. Use the results as a starting signal, not a full placement test.

02

Learn with a picture

Explore fraction sizes and measurements, then follow guided steps with hints and worked explanations.

03

Put it into a project

Plan a bedroom, a planter, and workshop storage. Compare material choices against a budget.

Make fractions feel less abstract.

Start with a ruler: a half inch and eight sixteenths land on the same mark. Seeing the pieces makes the calculation easier to follow.

A few things parents ask.

Does this replace school math?

No. It’s supplemental learning focused on practical foundations, not a complete grade-level curriculum or accredited course.

Does my student need tools or materials?

No tools are needed. All three projects are on-screen math planning exercises.

Can I buy access now?

Yes. Create a parent account, add a student alias, and choose Buy access. You can also try guest activities free without a card.

Will progress follow us to another device?

Yes, when signed into your parent account and using the same student profile. Guest progress stays in its original browser and is not automatically imported.

REAL PEOPLE. PRACTICAL POSSIBILITIES.

There’s a world beyond the worksheet.

Measurements, shapes, and material choices connect math to making things. Our online projects start with planning—no workshop or tools required.

MAKE NUMBER MEANING VISIBLE

Support for learners who find numbers difficult.

For students with dyscalculia or other math-learning difficulties, explore quantities and calculations one step at a time.

See the quantity

Connect grouped counters to numbers. Build addition on a number line, revealing one move at a time.

See the fraction

Compare equal parts of one whole with a fraction bar and matching number line.

Practice without a countdown

Explore unscored models, then return to independent checks. Supported exploration never changes assessment scores.

These learning supports are not a diagnosis or treatment for dyscalculia, and their effectiveness has not been clinically tested.
